Volunteer Requirements

In order to keep our player fees as low as possible, we rely on our members to volunteer their time during the year.

  • First Year Skater- No volunteer requirements. You may be asked to work a late season kitchen shift to learn for the following season.
  • All Other Skaters- Help at rink setup and tear down. Kitchen shifts. The number of shifts is determined each season by the kitchen committee. 25 hours worth of work around the rink. Examples include Zamboni driver and general cleaning and projects that need to be done around the rink.
  • Volunteer hour buyout- Volunteer hours can be bought out for a price of $500 per season.
  • Fundraising Opportunities- All families will be asked to sell raffle tickets for various fundraisers and to volunteer for other fundraising opportunities during the year. Families may be asked to donate items for Antigo Hockey Days or their team's home tournament raffle baskets as well. All of these efforts help us keep our player fees among the lowest in the state of Wisconsin.
