Age Levels
2024-2025 Season Age Groups by Birth Year
Initiation- 2022 and Older
8U Mites- 2016 and younger
10U Squirts- 2014-2015
12U PeeWee- 2012-2013
14U Bantam- 2010-2011
- Initiation (Learn to Skate)- This program is for our newest and often youngest skaters. Our first year players skate for free once registered with USA hockey. All protective gear is provided for use for the first year as well. Initiation practices 1 time during the week and Saturday mornings as the game schedule will allow. No scheduled games for this group.
- 8U (Mites)- For skaters 8 years old and younger. Players are moved up from the Initiation team when the necessary skills are developed. This group practices 2 times per week with occasional games/jamborees on some weekends.
- 10U (Squirts)- For skaters ages 9-10. These players are moved up from the Mites program once they age out. This group practices 3 times per week with games on the weekends. One home tournament as well as one away tournament are scheduled.
- 12U (Pee Wee)- For skaters ages 11-12. These players are moved up from Squirts once they age out. This group practices 3 times per week with games on the weekends. One home tournament as well as one away tournament are scheduled.
- 14U (Bantam)- For skaters ages 13-14. These players are moved up from Pee Wees once they age out. This group practices 3 times per week with games on the weekends. One home tournament as well as one away tournament are scheduled.
- High School (Grades 9-12)- Once players hit grade 9 they are eligible to join our High school program until graduation. This team is organized through Antigo High School.
